I’ve this theory that mostly Americans never answer the phone due to can-spam laws and such.

I usually answer if i see a call and it is convenient, but phone is always on silent.

The news stories of people getting detained on arrival are becoming more frequent, so you can bet this is going to get a lot worse.

Lets revisit this in 6 months.

Well that, and fear-mongering and lying on the other side of the aisle.

There are lots of great ways to moderate and balance freedom and privacy. Also for young people. For-profit companies failed at it.

Ban algorithms, make data-collection default opt-out, disallow attention-for-ads business model. Or just close it all.

But i don’t get why none of those showed up in any feeds if they exist. I am very far left of centre (by american standards) you’d think some of the people i follow would share - or non-us media would.

I don’t know if occupy accomplished anything, but the George Floyd protests were massive.

I could totally see the US blaming europeans not Russians, if this was proven a GRU operation.

The rhetoric is probably because your leadership is backstabbing its allies, allying with dictators and removing rights and dignity for its own citizens. But I’m just guessing.
