Absolutely GOTY material with great gameplay and an all-star voice cast too.

You want to use the latest kernel and mesa versions (preferably git or release candidate versions). The new Xe kernel module allegedly doesn't support hardware accelerated video decoding so you'll need to stick with i915. If Intel's new GPUs dont have the hardware acceleration issue it would be a no-brainer to buy once the performance issues are ironed out.

can't wait to see what people eventually do with the nix package manager too. it'll be great to keep all of the foreign/custom packages after an operating system upgrade.

Last time I tried it, HEVC was not on the mainline Linux builds, you had to build it from source with it enabled or use a plugin for it.

For extra context, this might've been a reason for the delay.
