There are innumerable functioning systems of trade without capitalism. My point is capitalism is intrinsically violent and wasteful. War is profit. But there ARE mutualist, communalist, and voluntary approaches to labor as well just to name a few. I also have to point out that the gold standard in the case of USD is effectively maintained by a obscenely expansive worldwide military presence which can't be a good thing long term and how about that ongoing pandemic we don't talk about? How long can we as species get away with ignoring the real, big, systemic problems? Capitalism is NOT fixing them, and won't. Regardless you're real mistaken, I don't envision some perfect world, dont accuse me of naivety- I'm a tired, jaded anarchist, not a communist. Anyways I am truly sorry you've only ever known assholes.. I'm not holding my breath for anything just speaking my mind, and maybe I change someone's, at least I tried

Okay fair, it's not sludge, concrete pellets. Everyone who isn't perfectly informed is worse than you, we get it. Literally your best answer is "let's bury it underground" like that's some magical, non-caveman-brain solution that couldn't go wrong in a billion other ways.

As a bit of a "young climate activist" myself (certainly more of a jaded, realistic one) , nuclear is still a bad idea. We don't need a overabundance of electricity, we need more sustainable energy. The last thing we should be doing as environmentalists is giving governments and capitalists more resources to weaponize- ntm more opportunities to critically fuck up our planet. Yes, nuclear energy CAN be produced totally safely. However, from a logistics standpoint this depends on keeping a number of factors in check and one has to account for the materials involved. Storage of nuclear waste is already a problem on planet earth. The U.S has bunkers full of this sludge that will kill anyone who gets close- Not to mention how unethical industry practices are when it comes to mining on a world wide scale!

As a trans person, sports are inherently unequal, unfair and some people do have biological advantages. If Micheal Phelps can use his freak lungs and webbed feet in the fucking OLYMPICS why can't a young trans girl compete at a goddamn h.s meet? People only seem to care when it's a trans person, but rules can impact cis people as well. Plenty of born cis women have excess testosterone and have even been banned from sporting events in the past, ntm the right's best answer to this perceived problem? introducing genital inspections. I'd say people have already given up on farming tradition, you have any idea what goes on in those places? It's nothing like it was 100 years ago. Those foods in question are produced as quickly and cheaply as possible at the animal's expense. Not to mention the consumer's! I'm not missing out on anything except stress and growth hormones by not eating meat. Maybe some parasites too. Besides, the spices are where the real flavor has always been. I obviously don't think change will happen overnight but I highly recommend you give some extra-firm tofu a second chance, maybe drain, deep fry it and pour on some sweet and sour sauce- you might just be surprised! lmk if you need a recipe. Hummus is really great too, if you need more proof vegan food can be indulgent and exciting

Everybody has different needs, but imo if you work as a security guard for a place like this AND take it seriously you not only signed up for violence but you deserve it. These companies are robbing us blind of good health, personal space and time on the planet- why defend that?
