Ranked choice is a step in the right direction, but Approval Voting is better and more intuitive, imo.

Yes, but for him to actually run, he needs to be on the ballot. Elections are run by the states. He would need enough states to recognize his legal right to run again to even be on their ballots. Then he would have to win any number of court challenges to his being allowed. And then he would have to actually win. And then he would have to be confirmed by Congress. I'm sure he'll do anything he can to game the system, but I don't think he'll make it past all of those stopgaps. More than likely, if he gets a third term, it will not be through any amount of legitimate means. He'll try to skip elections entirely, is my bet.

"Election fraud".... how? A) Reporting facts of public opinion is never illegal. B) Election fraud comes in 3 forms, as far as I know. 1. Campaign finance fraud. 2. Civil rights violations. 3. Voting/ballot fraud. This is clearly none of these. C) There is no Election going on. The current administration has only existed for 3 months. We are about as far from an election while being far enough into an administration to hold a valid opinion on it as possible. D) YOU CANNOT RUN FOR PRESIDENT AGAIN YOU FUCKING RUBE! I don't give a fuck what your ethically void legal team of Heritage Foundation ideolgues tells you. They are full of shit.

Also, even the reputation he has was bullshit propaganda. The common canon of the story is that Columbus knew the Earth was round and everyone else told him he was crazy, that the Earth was flat and he was going to sail his crew off the edge of the world. That's not remotely true. Everyone knew he Earth was round. It was completely accepted and common knowledge at the time.

They did call Columbus crazy and say he was going to kill his crew, though. Not for believing the Earth was round, but for believing it was about a third the circumference that it actually is and was essentially known to be. The reason people didn't sail west to get to the Indies was because it was believed to be (and is) a loooong fucking trip. He disagreed and thought it would be about a third of what everyone else knew it to be. So he only stocked the three ships with enough supplies for this much smaller distance.

He sailed his men west past the point of no return to what absolutely would have been their certain deaths. And they got close to killing him over it when their supplies ran critically low. Had he not lucked out and found land WAY fucking early and nowhere near his destination, he would have been remembered, if indeed he were remembered at all, for being a complete moron, because he was. He was just a moron that got saved by dumb luck.

And that's the "heroic" stuff that we're meant to applaud him for, independent of the horrible treatment of the natives. He only got a holiday in the first place because Catholics wanted a American figure that represented them and so they lobbied hard for it. The guy was not an aspirational figure though. He just had good PR for a long time.

All of them are fingers. Thumbs are fingers, but a finger is not necessarily a thumb. I dont know where people get the idea that a thumb is not a finger. So many common sayings reinforce that it is. "Counting on your fingers (including your thumbs)", healthy babies have "Ten fingers, ten toes", "What did the five fingers say to the face... slap", "high five", "five finger discount", etc. Also, honorable mention to Princess Bride's Inigo Montoya searching for "the 6 fingered man" which includes his thumb. "Middle finger" is not the only thing that makes no sense if you don't accept that the thumb is a finger.

Trump's grave will be in a bog. It won't start that way, but I think around the millionth person defecating and urinating on it in the first year, they will have to reclassify it.

That's fair. Now I wonder how liability works with that since they could hurt themselves and you in the process. And surely they are people that just cannot be lifted by one person.

Well, no employee is going to be expected to physically lift me and every other passenger at any point, but they will have to lift all of our checked baggage, so it feels like my weight matters less than my luggage's weight.

Any seat that doesn't have a primary challenger is a mistake. Incumbent should have to justify their continuing role to their own party, not just an opposing party, just like a new comer has to justify why they would be better. Maybe stability is better, maybe the incumbent is doing a great job and should continue to do so, maybe new blood with perspectives are needed, maybe more drive and passion is a priority. You know who should get to decide those things? The party voters, not the establishment.

Probably worried about his prospects for a third term.
