  • I read somewhere F1 is looking to expand to Africa to do some races there.

  • Finally. Surprised he made it this far, I expected him to get booted before the 2023 season.

  • Well Lando was only 1 second behind Max all of a sudden because he didn't lift, during the race. Different from the George situation not on a fast lap during quali. Then again the 10 second stop and go for Lando was a bit too much imo. Inconsistency remains key with the stewards.

  • I have one. Works perfectly out of the box. It connects through usb to your pc and uses a 2.4ghz band for the wireless audio. It's expensive but the best headset I have ever had.

Edit: don't know about the additional sound system, I can imagine that would be windows only. Not something I miss anyway. Noise cancelling works fine.

  • Easy, your 4090 is made of pure assembly.

  • If you create a meme like this at least inform yourself on how computers and software work.

  • Because I have seen 10 posts about how Bluesky is the new Twitter on my Lemmy feed in two days. I overreacted a bit, but what you say goes both ways. Absolutely use what you like but there is no need to spam a new platform like that.

  • Bluesky can fuck right off as well. I tried it to see if it was any different than Twitter but I had to nope out after 10 minutes.

I've never understood the whole Twitter formula anyways. Scroll through endless ramblings of people I don't care about? No thanks.

There are far better places to stay informed about certain topics or get in touch with people you know.

  • I'm amazed it still works that well to be honest. Have it on Firefox on my phone as well 👌🏼

  • I really appreciate the work and time the volunteer devs put in, but everytime I try KDE I have to give up because of some workflow breaking bug. Window rules disappearing into thin air, context menu's not rendering properly, power management not consistent, widget search freezing, random crashes. the list goes on. This has been the case with every major KDE release I tried and yes I have reported my fair share of bugs but it seems the priority lies with adding new features instead of fixing old ones which is a shame imo.

  • 🤦🏼‍♂️

At this point a meteorite nuking our planet is probably better for everyone.

  • I need a day or two to adjust. Doesn't matter if the clock goes forward or backwards.

  • Awesome. Question, why did you not use the other 2 normal oil nodes as well?

  • This is what stopped me from signing up as well.

  • Weird table. I use Foot which is pretty fucking fast and does everything I need except panes so I might check this one out.

  • Instead of focussing on getting the core of the game finished and THEN expanding it they do it the other way around.

For example the mining loop now is broken again, people bought mining ships and vehicles with $$ and they are completely unusable. Not to mention all the bugs and instability. I hope they succeed but right now things are not pointing to something enjoyable within the foreseeable future at all.

  • Money.

AI will improve and this will be a multi trillion dollar market. Big tech is in a race to be the biggest.

We don't need it and should be focussing on important things but yay capitalism right?

You can find some more if you do a quick search on netherlands drug violence. Politicians are ignoring this problem completely. It's a growing problem in other European countries as well, Sweden for example.
