I'm learning Japanese right now myself, and I don't know if it's just something you learn or if it's something native speakers just get used to, because I have a hard time telling some kanji apart when the font is too small. It's mostly just an issue with online resources tho.

I wanna know how "Nihon" got turned into "Japan" in the first place. A lot of things are just from the foreigner mishearing; but how the hell did someone mishear "Nihon" as "Japan?" They don't even sound close! Not even from a thick Japanese accent!

At least the NES version of TMNT could be beaten. I had the DOS version where one of the levels has a slight difference in platform height, making a jump that's possible on other versions to make and finish the level, impossible on the DOS version.

Zelda isn't really super hard, it just doesn't tell you were to go so you spend a lot of time doing shit until you hit a point where you need a tool you haven't yet found and have to go somewhere else.
