That's exactly why I was excited for a new fridge as a kid! My dad cut a window and a closable door in it, and it had a little, lop-sided chimney. It was also painted the most god-awful burnt orange lol
None. They aren't funny and clutter up feeds. I block every meme and related community I come across so I can more easily find actual meaningful content.
FYI Humanity is currently in the free Game Library on PS+. It's almost 5am here and my brain isn't working right, otherwise I'd tell you the specific PS+ tier.
Sniper Elite 5. That series is like my sneaky sniper comfort food. I also just got a sonos arc soundbar and subwoofer and tried it out for the first time with the game. In the sonos app, they are now under the media group named, "Boom!Headshot". lol
And that's in the hospital, after he'd had a chance to cool down some in the ambulance, and I'm sure EMS started IV fluids as well, which would have also cooled him. I bet his temp was a good bit higher than 109.8 at its highest.
For those who don't like clicking on links that have no context: this is an adorably community-illustrated video of a song called "Moby Duck". Worth the click!
If kitty is young, be aware that your girl may actually be a boy! Orange girls are very rare. Unless the jibblies are out, loud and proud, it can be very hard to determine sex, even for a vet.
I think we're going to see this more often as smaller hosts get overwhelmed with trying to deal with a growing user base. I've seen some posts already about a few struggling. I suspect more than a few people spun up instances without thinking things all the way through.
Quitting because I don't want to deal with an unpleasant ending I can see coming, and sometimes just because the end is coming at all, is a huge problem for me. Games, anime, manga, books (when I still had the ability to concentrate enough to read books, anyway).. I have some kind of deep-seated issue with endings. It's ridiculous.
I picture the employees playing rock, paper, scissors to determine who was going to have to make that post; I can't imagine any of them didn't know how this was going to play out.
..And the dude that won (lost?) didn't even know how to link his own username. It looks like he did it via an actual hyperlink! Now that is fantastic example out of touch management.
I've jumped around a lot after paying attention to other folks' instances and looking into ones that sound interesting in some way. As I've gotten more familiar with the fediverse concept and what's out there, I've hopped instances. I'm not a heavy user, so it takes a little time, but I'm definitely a little bit more satisfied after every jump. I actually just moved to kbin.social tonight, but haven't changed my login on this app yet. Swapped Mastodon servers, too, ended up at vmst.io. First one I actually found multiple things I was interested in following.
That looks like it was so satisfying to click.
