Why do modern phones have device encryption on by default, but computers do not? Why doesn't computers also get encryption on by default?

  • the mac version of steam is the only 64-bit version of steam, since valve can't be bother to update their app to 64-bits unless forced

  • I don't think he ever was a great person, but social media also has the power to radicalize people. It doesn't matter if you are rich or smart or anything, using too much social media exposes you to being radicalized, in any direction

  • i entered to see how it was, and it seems that there are only like 8 colors? so it is worse than the last time? like, the trans flag can't be done correctly, and probably the pixel art is going to look much worse. truly enshitification for literally no reason

  • I just find reading on light mode much easier and comfortable, so i use it most of the time. I do use dark mode for programming, it doesn’t bother me there, but for most apps and websites the dark mode feels much more tiring.
