am i stupid? i don't get what the intent of the message is? what other interpretation is? (english is my second language, so i might be missing some colloquial term here?)
I haven't used AI agents yet, but my job is kinda pushing for them. but i have used the google one that creates audio podcasts, just to play around, since my coworkers were using it to "learn" new things. i feed it with some of my own writing and created the podcast. it was fun, it was an audio overview of what i wrote. about 80% was cool analysis, but 20% was straight out of nowhere bullshit (which i know because I wrote the original texts that the audio was talking about). i can't believe that people are using this for subjects that they have no knowledge. it is a fun toy for a few minutes (which is not worth the cost to the environment anyway)
it's funny, because I would much rather do 100F over even 20F. anything below freezing starts to be really uncomfortable; but 100F can be nice for me if its under 50% humidity. above that, and specially about 60% and it starts to be annoying.
but i 100% agree that it is easier to put more clothes to keep the cold away than it is to cool down when it is hot; but i like the toasty
i mean, single digits is also leathal; 9F is much worse than 100F. it is just easier to warm a room than it is to cool it down, but if you had to be exposed to the outside temperature 9F will kill you, 100F won't
i would not call Lucier a musican, but i do find some of his sound art interesting. 'I am sitting in a room' can be kinda meditative in an interesting way
it is important to note that the article says that Alvin eagrly agreed to this experiment, and donated the blood for it. If that is true, then I don't see any ethical dillemma in here
the article is about how dictatorships are a worse form of government than republics. It means that dictatorships fail because they creates poorer and worse countries. not that they fails because they are not able to maintain themselves
what are you talking about, the underground railroad has always been the 4/5 subway line in NYC that connects the Trump Building in Wall Street with the Trump Tower in 5th Ave, right?
they are not cutting any fraud. the US already has an independent, non-partisan accountability office that actually investigates spending, instead of cutting random items based on the name without any analysis or understanding like musk is doing. and the executive power (including any stupidly named agency within in) has no power to change the budget set by congress. it is literally unconstitutional.
I have seen this around multiple times. I really doubt that it is real. The whole working-for-tips system is messed up, thou, but the biggest I have ever seen recommended is 25%
well, if the founding fathers didn't want the president total power and act like a king, they should have named it something different than king and divide the power in multiples branches
i just can't think of any. like the article says, i fully expected the app to send data to china. but even if you are maliciously spying on users, why would you send the stolen data on unsecured channels? so that everyone in the path takes advantage of the data your wanted to steal?
