Had to have the landlord come and fix a relatively minor issue with our shower. About lost my mind making sure the place looked presentable for him to fix something he's responsible for. Trauma sucks

That may or may not happen. There's no need to be a dick and take away what small bit of hope these results might offer people.

Eta: I would feel the same way you do if this was some snake oil grift touting a one shot cure for cancer or something. This, however, is just offering a slight mitigation of depressive symptoms related to the actual disease.

Your experience with psychedelics at the age of 19, while your brain was still developing, has no relevance to adults suffering from life-long ptsd and terminal cancer getting positive side effects from the drugs.

I could just as easily claim that vehicle fuel economy improving during the 70's caused a decrease in female suicides.

Better gas mileage probably contributed a more than zero amount to that decrease.

Infinite money and access to unscrupulous doctors combined with mental illness and body dismorphia caused by years of abuse will do that to a person, go figure.

You'll get downvoted because you're wrong. They're government employees, the fact that they were trying to hide their identities doesn't magically make it not public information.

1. Go buy something from a local furniture store
2. Instead of haggling for that extra $50 off the sticker price you normally would, ask for one of their miniature display mattresses
3. Take home your new luxury dog bed...and maybe a bookcase or something? Idk what people buy at furniture stores.

They use this mixture at my work as well. Flushing out large sub freezing cooling systems. We don't dump it out on the street though.

My first time shutting down a factory at the end of second shift for the weekend. I shut down the compressors first, and that hard stopped a bunch of other equipment that relied on the air pressure. Lessons learned. I spent another hour restarting then properly shutting down everything. Never did that again.

Personally, it's amusing at best. In the same way as the girl in Jurassic Park using "Unix" to hack the system.

That being said, I still give mad props for the development that occurred during that era.

Yeah, that happens. That's why they make block heaters. The moral of the story is don't be a dick about people not knowing everything about their vehicle. I still argue with some of the smartest people I know about filling their tank before severe weather hits. We're not all on the same level, most people just expect it to work.

Watching TNG with my mom is one of the few good memories I have with her. Somehow she managed to go full blown religious nut, while I took those early messages of curiosity and compassion to heart.
