Her take on the cost of living crisis was that it was good that I wouldn’t have the issue of hoarding things like her, as I would never be able to afford them in the first place.

I didn’t like Prophet Song either. The mother character’s inability to do anything kinda bogged the whole story down for me.

I went to Aldi yesterday and they do really good prices with the limited options the my had. Example.

Sea salt chips big bag:

• Woolies: on special from $6 down to $3.60
• Aldi: always $2.99

So they do better than the half price specials at the majors.

There’s an outbreak in NZ as well. Seems like we’ve let other vaccinations drop after COVID :(

I mean games, tv, movies all have some sort of rating system so you don’t really have to spend a lot of time reviewing the content for your kids. Seems like a gap that this doesn’t exist for books.
