  • It is not random. He has a group of people doing a deceptively good job crafting the message for each region. Just like he did in 2016 with Cambridge Analytica.

He, himself, is a barely coherent idiot, but I think it allows their message to be received by people who also don't have that good an education.

E.G. find one of his speeches from the rust belt. They're all fairly similar. Will hit notes of corruption, proud people, fight the NYC and California democrats that did this to them, anti-trade and protectionism, etc. Then go find one like this one that was to bible belt extremists. Completely different. Will still hit some common notes(NYC/Cali), but the underlying message and theme are miles apart.

Edit: to be clear, its all bullshit lies that are telling people exactly what they want to hear.

  • Other parties dont send robocalls pretending to be other parties.

    But the CPC does.

Other parties dont gut the oversight board and replace it with industry lobbyists, but the CPC does.

Other parties dont steal from the G7 security budget when its in Canada, but the CPC does.

Other parties dont sell off critical infrastructure like Coast guard facilities or harbour control facilities, but rhe CPC does.

  • Trick is that any respectable OS should crash in this scenario. Including when cloudstrike did this to Linux.

There was an uncaught exception in a program that was using a workaround to run unsigned code at a kernel level.

The only part of this on MS is not investigating how Cloudstrike was doing updates. Otherwise its 100% Cloudstrike that set all of this in motion.

  • You're confusing me with someone else. Havent talked about FOMO in warframe with you.

FOMO in warframe is events like the just finished Jade Shadows, one offs like Scarlet Spear or the (very) infrequently run Plague Star.

We are in agreement about DE uses Dark Patterns, you're just more jaded than I am. Calling it p2w though is a stretch IMO.

  • The whole prime access is a p2w mechanic that prior to Liches was arguably considerably more important.

Now with Lich, Sister and Railjack weapons that are all play-only access.
Galvanized and Prime mods you can't p2w.

Nevermind the whole Steel Path and incarnon adapters, where while a small set is plat available, and the only good weapon in that set is the Angstrum, and aforementioned Galvanized mods.

  • Prime resurgence is a less predatory version of prime vault. It allows free players easier and more precise access to unvaulted items, including armor and accessories that were previously impossible to get as a free player.

See the price drop for Glaive Prime today. Dropped off a cliff because its unvaulted.

  • It arguably isn't anymore, although it looks like it is. Yes, you can buy prime frames and weapons, but can't buy the mods or arcanes directly from the game to outfit them. Even then, prime weapons on their own are not the best in the game by a long shot, and a prime warframe does not guarantee it being "meta".

The weapons that are the best are locked behind story quests, and even once you unlock one of those vendors, only one of them that you can buy with platinum is any good.

They were considering adding a destiny style story skip, but when they asked for feedback it was so negative they immediately relented.

  • Recall that his family and the Clintons, before the 2016 run, used to be very close friends.

To the point that Bill Clinton and him have both admitted to having a several hours long phone call shortly prior to him running for the GOP primary, but they both "swear politics never came up".
