  • If screenshots count, it's this:

    (this strain is delicious, btw)

If we're only counting images saved, I'm sorry:

  • Not saying a business/person wouldn't try to do something this shitty, but this seems like such a low effort thing to fake. Literally just a word doc printed out and duct taped to a wall.

  • That's where I'm at. Reddit was the only social media I was using, now it's just Lemmy. I don't consider it "hardcore" or some kind of bragging right, I'm just happier without it.

  • I know someone that has started saying "normalicy" and I want to scream every time

  • Yes to all of these, although my current friends and wierd collections are both relatively newly acquired

  • "Pro lapsu" is Greek for "slip of the tongue?" Ew.

  • I fucking loved Corel, I've never really found an adequate replacement for it. Guess I'll be giving InkScape a try, thanks

  • The ancient drawing was by a caveman trying to convince his caveman bros that he could totally take a polar bear.

  • Not that I've traveled all over the US, but I've never heard the term "chippy" used that way here. Where is it used?

  • It looks like a Zong

  • Among many other misattributed MP3s I downloaded off LimeWire, I remember downloading an mp3 of a "new leaked Nine Inch Nails song" called "Digital" that even had an intro read by a some DJ on a radio station (supposedly).

It ended up not being Nine Inch Nails, but I loved the song anyway, and had no idea what it was until a decade later when I found it again online. Still fuckin rocks too:

Boom Boom Satellites - Push Eject

I also remember a Tetris Theme remix by Aphex Twin that was very much not Aphex Twin.

I also remember downloading the Aphex Twin remix of Beck's "Devil's Haircut"and the remix was so bad I thought it had to be fake (it's not).

  • sleigh of hand

  • (stolen from somewhere on Lemmy)

  • It took me far too long to realize this is bare footprints in snow and not wet footprints on a sunny sidewalk.

  • Most of what I would have suggested has already been posted by others, but I can say Kruggsmash's Dwarf Fortress stories do this for me. The Waddlesquash/Kingdom of Autumn series he did (with the pumpkin mod) is particularly laid back, but even the action-heavy series are calming to watch/listen to.

  • I don't even remember who made them, but the little single serve cups of chocolate ice cream with the wooden spoon
