  • There are groups that give access to pirated AI. When I was a student, i used them to make projects. As for how they get access to it? They usually jailbreak websites that provide free trials and automate the account creation process. The higher quality ones scam big companies for startup credits. Then there are also some leaked keys.

Anyways thats what i would call "pirated AI". (Not the locally run AI)

  • Love the brainstorm energy and solution oriented mindset. Few suggestions:

Lets make the game mandatory and nonviolent, except the loser becomes the new kevin and the winner gets blown up with giant lasers.

The kevin system will push people not to be the last one and the laser will discourage people from being at the top.

It would create much more homogenous, and equal society with no class wars because everyone would want to be the part of the "middle class"

  • Replying to your post, if there were less workers there would be less consumers and then less consumers means less demand for workers.

This is gonna sound communisty but a better way to increase wages would be to avoid extraordinary wealth accumulation. There are finite resources, finite workers and thus finite surplus in this world, so if one person gets too much, that means the rest will have much less.

  • I remember reading a graph that showed, the number of young children in the world plateaued which means that the world population will also be plateaued in about 70-80 years.

Which actually fit the predictions that were made from simulations that world population will hit a max in around 2100

  • Wait you said you didn't know better so let me try and explain the geopolitical importance of pakistan to USA.

Basically US has always had one country "pro-US" in that region because of china. India always had a very close connection with russia so US had a close connection with pakistan. Think back to how Pakistan helped train mujahideen in afghanistan?

Anyways then china rose to power and pakistan started siding with china so naturally US started siding with india.

Now the issue is US has already left afghanistan and russia has attacked ukraine. And india is much much closer to russia so now that leaves Pakistan.

Imran khan had to go away because he was pro-"independence from the west".

If you look at Pakistan China relationship, you will see that chinese companies are pulling out their projects/workers from Pakistan. Pak-China relationship is probably at its lowest.

Meanwhile, pakistan usa relationship is getting stronger and stronger.

  • You don't know what you are talking about. Members of parliament who didn't vote for no-confidence had their private moments leaked. Which is considered a huge disrespect in pakistan. Others were offered money. So basically the whole carrot and a stick spiel.

Military had dirt on basically everyone.

  • These are very loose terms. Pretty much every major website saves IP addresses when you create an account (to prevent abuse/spam detection). And you can get location info from the IP address. Hence the first condition would be true for all of those websites.

Next, any website/app that builds a recommendation system will save user interactions to build the "algorithm". So every social media with an algorithm will fall into this category.

With enough bending of terminology, we might be able to prove that the lemmy also collects user data (although it will be really hard cuz the algo here is based on upvotes and time posted iirc). And "large amount" part is just legal filler words.

  • I didn't say tiktok is the bastion of free speech. They only do this in the Palestinian case because it does not serve them anything to be against palestine. We can criticise one party without making the other one some kind of "moral hero" of a story.

  • Rich tend to have power and influence. If biden wants to create a legacy for him and his associates (whether his kins or the party members), he needs to serve the rich people's needs first and foremost.

It is only rational that he does that. Isn't it?

  • Tiktok got banned not for peddling "chinese propaganda" but instead not peddling the US one.

All the major tech companies in the US take measures to ensure content deemed unworthy by the government never become mainstream or viral.

This is done under the pretense of stopping "hate speech" or "terroristic propaganda" but often include things like pro-palestinian content or class struggle content (like luigi mangione stuff).

Tiktok was bold enough to not do that by default, cuz they wanted someone to ask them to do this and then it would become a huge scandal about how the US suppresses free speech. And US gov don't want to do that for this exact reason as well. So they decided to ban it.

Remember talks for this "law" were initiated when all of a sudden tiktok became a host for pro-palestinian voices. We should ask ourselves, how is it that 60% of americans want the government to stop arms sales to israel but this 60% never shows up on the big social media platforms. But on other platforms like here in lemmy and tiktok, pro-palestinians is the majority.

For further reading, listen to employees fired from big US tech companies for voicing their concerns over the palestine issue, or read Meta's new terms and conditions specially the section on "dangerous organizations and individuals".

  • I would further and say just immigration is not enough. We need to provide equal rights and opportunities to immigrants as well. Because as long as immigrants can be exploited for lower labor, Germans will also be exploited indirectly.

Whether its about crimes, poverty leads to crime not immigration. Which immigrants tend to be.

Or if it is about equal pay, cuz if immigrants don't get equal pay that will just lead to lower pay for everybody industry wide.

AfD knows this because they serve the rich not the people. They want the threat of deportation to immigrants so they work for cheaper and rich get richer.

And at the same time, when Germans get angry, AfD tells them to direct it towards immigrants not the rich.

Its crazy how many of the world's problems can be solved by having empathy and humanity.

  • Money and power..... And propaganda.

The elites don't want immigrants, they want wage slaves. Who will come when they are told to, live like they are told to, work in any condition they are given and leave when they are told to.

So the goal is to deport these pesky immigrants with rights and import those slaves, then those slaves will work for extremely cheap cuz the threat of deportation and how their home countries are beyond fucked anyways.

Who benefits from slavery? Is it the working class (poor and middle) or the elites who will have cheap labor?

Not to mention this will reduce the salaries for everyday Germans, and then elites gets to claim 2 things to fellow germans:

    1. look at all the immigrants who are stealing your job and driving your wages down.
    2. look at how much our economy is growing (it will be the elites who will be getting all the wealth not the working/poor class)

Btw you can replace the whole scenario in USA as well with the whole H1B visa stuff.

  • What reading ToS gonna do? For many people, if they want to find a job they have no option but to network via LinkedIn. You get blocked from many many services just because you use private browsing or a VPN. These services are so well integrated with modern society that you are basically at a huge disadvantage if you don't use them.
