As a temporary thing it's not that bad but it's also an extra 5 hours on your day. I've done 3.5 hrs for a client meeting but at that point that hour long meeting is all I'm getting done that day
The only reason they can cut off water and power is because Israel provides them with those things. PA has been given money to develop infrastructure, but Hamas chooses to cut up pipes to build rockets and use cement for smuggling tunnels.
Look up Black September and what's happened when Palestinians were allowed into Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt, and Syria. Gaza gets called an "open air prison" and Israel gets blamed, but they are there because no one else will have them
I'm not going to defend forcefully displacing innocents, obviously that is an atrocity in its own right. But it's not indiscriminate killing like people are claiming.
Not having that data is exactly the point, if they had that sure they could specifically cut power. But they don't have that, and Hamas is mixing with civilians, so they're forced to cut power across the board
There's a big cultural divide for Illinois, Chicago isn't very "Midwest" compared to downstate.
