Probably none, because they'll assume they won't be targeted. Quite the contrast with the freakout they had when Obama did a military exercise in the south.
The Citroen AMI doesn't have speakers either, it comes with a Bluetooth speaker instead, which you can use outside the car. It makes sense if you just think of the entertainment stuff as something that shouldn't be part of the car and can easily be upgraded/replaced down the line.
Nah, it's just the propaganda by the oil companies working. You'll also see people suddenly bringing up brake dust and tire microplastics in relation to electric cars (even though ICE cars have the exact same issues).
Not saying those aren't real problems that should be solved, but they're usually just brought up to stop renewable projects from going ahead.
Nah, Rubio has just always had the ambition for more, and being secretary of state would give him a leg up in future presidential contests in normal times. The problem is that being in Trump's cabinet is actually never a good thing, as you'll either be forced to do things that are the opposite of what you've stood for your whole career, you do something illegal, or you quit/get fired in disgrace.
And then, when we get into a post-Trump era someday, you won't even be able to denounce Trump in the same way every Republican is now pretending they never liked George W Bush.
The point of those questions is to make potential immigrants commit the crime of lying on federal forms, which gives the government an easy way to cancel the visa.
Great, everyone's a terrorist now, and the thing we said would happen if you carve out exceptions in the law for terrorists is happening. Everyone that voted for the patriot act and equivalents in other countries did this.
It's a good way to demonstrate that those 'free speech absolutists' are always full of shit. They just want to be able to say the N-word again, and they'll absolutely continue to do everything to suppress your speech, especially if it's something that threatens their money.
Yeah, it would be politically smart for Trump to just blame Musk for all the unpopular DOGE stuff after firing him, but I'm not sure he would just because he only respects people that are richer than him.
They might have booked the trip before it was clear it was going to be so bad, and I doubt you can get your money back on a ticket for something like that. They probably rolled the dice and hoped for the best. It's always been a roulette of whether you'd get a 'good' border patrol agent or some guy with a chip on his shoulder. It's just that the latter feels more empowered now and there's nobody keeping them in check.
I doubt it's common. I've traveled to Australia and the US (and a bunch of other places) with just a few nights in a hostel booked, sometimes even without a return flight. Might be different if you've got a middle eastern name or something like that, but pretty much every backpacker travels this way.
Imagine booking 2 years ahead when you're on a writing holiday visa, that's just nuts.
Yeah, I've always travelled like this. You just get a ho(s)tel for the first few nights, and then you just stay longer if you like where you are or you move on to the next place based on what locals/other travellers recommend.
