U.S. Military Launches Massive Drills to Prepare for War with China | KJ Noh

  • This is not FUD; you need to rewatch the video a second time. Unless you are just replying to post titles, I can't help you there.

    TIL

FUD is an acronym for "Fear, Uncertainty, Doubt" and is commonly used in the cryptocurrency community as a short way to describe negative information about a blockchain based currency or asset.

    Generated Summary:

    Main Topic:

The video discusses Zohran Mamdani's primary election victory in the New York City mayoral race as a self-described democratic socialist and what it portends for the Democratic Party and the working class. It also examines the challenges he will face from the billionaire class, the Democratic establishment, and Zionist groups, and how he can overcome them.

    Key Points:

    • Mamdani's Victory: His win is seen as a rebuke of the Zionist lobby and a boost for working-class people, demonstrating that campaigns focused on issues like a $30 minimum wage, rent freeze, and free transit can succeed.
    • Democratic Party Opposition: The Democratic Party establishment is largely silent or antagonistic towards Mamdani, signaling potential sabotage of his campaign.
    • Fighting Strategy: Kshama Sawant emphasizes the need for a "fighting strategy" rooted in class war, building mass movements, and challenging the power of billionaires and corporations. She argues against trying to appease the ruling class or blurring class lines.
    • Importance of Class Consciousness: Sawant stresses the importance of clarifying the nature of capitalism and its representatives to the working class.
    • Lessons from Seattle: Sawant draws on her experience in Seattle, where she fought for a $15 minimum wage and a tax on big businesses, highlighting the need for adversarial tactics and mass mobilization.
    • Challenges Ahead: Mamdani will face significant opposition from Zionist groups, the Democratic Party, and the billionaire class, who will pour money into campaigns to defeat him.
    • Critique of Mamdani's Approach: Sawant expresses skepticism about Mamdani's approach, particularly his statements about working with Governor Kathy Hochul and improving the quality of life for billionaires. She argues that he needs to directly challenge the Democratic establishment and mobilize working-class people.
    • New York DSA's Record: Sawant criticizes the New York DSA's record in the State Legislature, arguing that they have not won victories commensurate with their number of elected officials. She also points out that Mamdani ran unopposed in his last two elections, which she sees as a sign that he is not a significant threat to the ruling class.
    • Defeating Trumpism: Sawant argues that working-class solidarity around class-based demands is essential to defeat Trumpism and right-wing populism.

    Highlights:

    • Bill Aman's vow to spend "hundreds of millions of dollars" to defeat Mamdani.
    • Sawant's description of capitalism as a "zero-sum game."
    • Sawant's call for Mamdani to organize rallies and marches to mobilize working-class people.
    • Sawant's critique of AOC as a "poster child for careerism."
    • Sawant's emphasis on the need for revolutionary politics to win meaningful reforms.
    • Sawant's analysis of how the Democratic Party uses identity politics to divide the working class.
    • Sawant's argument that the Democratic Party and the Labor leadership have betrayed the interests of the working class.

Why Chinese Open Source AI Model Will Win Over American OpenAI

  • Do you see Mark Zuckerberg and Peter Thiel as part of the oligarchy?

Is calling them out on what they do being a shill? I think it would be the opposite of a shill.

Glenn has already proven himself with his record and investigative journalism, especially his work with Edward Snowden.

    fascist oligarch shill

I am not sure these words have any meaning when they continue to be used so loosely.

We may not agree with him 100% on all topics, but I don't think there are people you can agree with 100%, unless you are an apologetic or celebrity worshipper and you just blindly follow people.

I see the topic he discusses here as important, and it is directly tied into technology, with Mark and Thiel being the direct tie.

I am interested in learning about the criticism of the analysis and arguments Glenn has made that you disagree with.

Feel free to post people that have brought these topics up as well.

  • Topics discussed are "transhumanism, AI, and the potential dangers of unchecked billionaire influence."

A generated summary is included so people understand the basics of what the video is about.

I am not sure how to make it easier for people to understand, sorry.

The people Glenn discusses are part of the oligarchy of the United States; they have great power and influence.

Meta and Palantir are a big part of the United States and companies that collect private data on the populace.

    Here you go:

Peter Thiel | German-American entrepreneur and venture capitalist (born 1967)

Peter Andreas Thiel is an American entrepreneur, venture capitalist, and political activist. A co-founder of PayPal, Palantir Technologies, and Founders Fund, he was the first outside investor in Facebook. According to Forbes, as of May 2025, Thiel's estimated net worth stood at US$20.8 billion, making him the 103rd-richest individual in the world. After graduating from Stanford, Thiel began his career as a clerk for Judge James Larry Edmondson, worked as a securities lawyer at Sullivan & Cromwell, a speechwriter for former U.S. secretary of education William Bennett, and a derivatives trader at Credit Suisse. He founded Thiel Capital Management in 1996 and co-founded PayPal with Max Levchin and Luke Nosek in 1998. He was the chief executive officer of PayPal until its sale to eBay in 2002 for $1.5 billion. Following PayPal, Thiel founded Clarium Capital, a global macro hedge fund based in San Francisco.

Mark Zuckerberg | American Internet entrepreneur

Mark Elliot Zuckerberg is an American businessman who co-founded the social media service Facebook and its parent company Meta Platforms, of which he is the chairman, chief executive officer, and controlling shareholder. Zuckerberg has been the subject of multiple lawsuits regarding the creation and ownership of the website as well as issues such as user privacy. Born in White Plains, New York, Zuckerberg briefly attended Harvard College, where he launched Facebook in February 2004 with his roommates Eduardo Saverin, Andrew McCollum, Dustin Moskovitz and Chris Hughes. Zuckerberg took the company public in May 2012 with majority shares. He became the world's youngest self-made billionaire in 2008, at age 23, and has consistently ranked among the world's wealthiest individuals. According to Forbes, Zuckerberg's estimated net worth stood at US$221.2 billion as of May 2025, making him the second-richest individual in the world.

All is well; we all get highly emotional on certain topics.

  • Political tribalism works.

We must stop falling for the divide and conquer strategies of the duopoly (lackeys of the oligarchs).

“I would unite with anybody to do right and with nobody to do wrong.” – Frederick Douglass

Instead of fighting over political leanings, try to hear what their arguments are and see where you agree.

This will help us be willing to discuss and unify all working-class people on what views we share instead of just focusing on what we don't agree on.

  • TLDW to TLDR…

A generated summary is included in the body.

I can't help you more than that; I thought I made it easy enough to know what the video is a bit about.

Random thought I was reminded of:

You can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make it drink

  • I don't agree with the way they think; it must be a boogeyman (bots, puppets, troll).

Self-built echo chambers and self-censorship are not healthy; we must be willing to continue learning from those that don't think like we do.

    Peace.

    Edit:

    1. Words, there -> it; added (bots, puppets, troll).
  • You do know what being on a platform is?

YouTube is another platform where deals are made with creators.

Nice try with your propaganda, though.

    Peace.

  • Thanks for the chat and th information you provided!

  • I see him as a comedian with populist opinions and rants.

Feel free to post critical videos on the JD community; all are welcome.

Don't forget to have higher standards for politicians than for comedians.

The politicians (lackeys of oligarchs) are the ones with real power and influence to change our society for better or mostly for the worst.

    All is well, peace.

  • I thought Glenn worked for Theil, is this video one of his slimy tricks? He said only elites fear Trump. That Bannon was a socialist. Even pretended to care about Palestinians, who are now being erased from existence.

Those just seem like smears from the duopoly (oligarch lackeys) loving apologetics (celebrity worshipper).

I wont watch the video. I have heard all I need to from that man.

The whole post and reason for it is about the video...

    Weird people on forums hahaha.

I guess your reason for commenting on the post about a Glenn video is just to show how much you disagree with the way he thinks instead of your way of thinking.

All is well, thanks for commenting your disdain, peace.

    Edit:

    1. Words, apoliticals to apologetics (celebrity worshipper)
  • I am done here.

    Thanks for the small chat!

We all get emotional; it is understandable. I hope we can unite on other topics.

Like fixing the systematic economic problem our societies face, that would be great.

    All is well, Peace.

  • Nice try, but that won't work with me.

    Again with the desperate gatekeeping.

    I will state again:

Ah, you also like to use Douglas Murray’s desperate attempts at gatekeeping what people can and can’t talk about.

I have not been to Palestine, nor do I speak Arabic, but I fully support the Palestinian people, and I know what my country is doing is fully supporting a genocide.

I don’t need to visit a certain country or speak any language to be able to see what is really going on.

More forever wars where the working class is sent to die while the oligarchs sit back and take all the important resources.

  • Having misspellings and typos is your concern...

    Weird, but you do you.

FYI: You also edited your comment, but you did not mention the edit...

Also, being exposed to only Western propaganda is not the honor you seem to believe it is.

We can all come to certain conclusions without needing (your preferred boogeyman) making us a puppet, bot, or brainwashed.
