And what tech stack are you building it on? Gitlab or somewhere in the open? I am looking for some projects so I may be able to contribute but Python is the only language I am versed in currently.

Lenovo y700 2023 should be arriving in the next few weeks. 8.8" though. Gaming tablet so high specs. Previous version (also the Lenovo y700) was only released in China though so not sure if this one is getting a global release?
No I didn't find anything, sorry. I think I came across an Android app, moodbites, but I didn't use it. Not self hosted but might do some of the job?
