  • Yeah that's fair.

Merchandising is the only palatable idea I can think of.

    More likely to happen:

    • Twitter's verified user subscription strategy
    • More ad posts with paid-priority (priority hidden from users)
    • Layoffs with AI as miracle cure
    • Selling user data for AI training (check)
    • Paid API access (check)

But it's really hard to ignore that its function isn't really designed for profit and it's wacky that we have to humor the idea.

  • The premise of the question is flawed in my opinion. It only needs to be profitable because they put themselves in that situation by going public.

A social platform run by users should only need to break even. I have no idea why a web forum needs to be on the stock market.

Now it's another example of Enshittification of the internet.

  • Banuelos called an investigator with the department and “talked about going where Donald Trump sent him,” apparently referencing the Capitol, according to a police record.

Hmm, this subtle clue feels relevant in current affairs, but I sure can't think of what. Oh well, it's probably nothing.

  • As of December they added re-entry heat and allegedly improved wobbling in the "For Science" update by the way.

But I'm still watching and waiting for it to improve before buying. Reviews for it have been higher lately, but I don't really trust the reviews when the devs set the bar so low. Everyone's too desperate for it to finally be worth playing. It still doesn't even sound as feature-complete as KSP1.

  • It might not just be a skill issue for that game. The PC version has serious performance issues from what I hear.

I just started it on PS5 and even then the combat has been pretty clunky. I beat Elden Ring where fights usually felt difficult but fair. So far Jedi Survivor just feels frustrating with ignored button inputs and animations that last too long.

  • Exactly, that's what I did. Removed it from my cart and waited an hour and suddenly it was a little cheaper.

I have no doubt there are bots monitoring to get every cent out of each transaction, knowing that people probably won't care about small changes.

  • To answer your question on what the cops did:

Anjelica Lee said. “My dad said to me: ‘Don’t get out of the car until they can fully see you, because they’re going to shoot.’ And after he said that, nine or 10 of them jumped on him, and then they slammed him on the car.”

She said she could hear her father screaming: “You’re hurting me. I can’t breathe.”

This is all from the woman's perspective. But it sure seems suspicious that he had chest pains that the police's story can't explain.
