  • I've seen it cause issues when you try and use Google Analytics console. You can add white list entries to groups and then add devices to that group. Works well.

  • Weird, Poetry gotta up their game then 😎

  • Yeah, that's rough. Is it any faster w PipEnv?

  • Seriously, I usually use Poetry these days for most projects, shit just works, build well and lets me distribute my code from PiPy just fine. Everything in one pyproject.yaml.

  • Holy smokes. 1000x this. You want Linux to be popular, stop gatekeeping it and being a hipster. OSX is a great example of how to make a Unix like OS popular with NORMAL people.

Grandma doesn't care what kernel she's running and ... Hint hint, neither do I. I just want my computer to work and be easy to maintain.

I run Ubuntu, not because it's the best, but became it just works. I might swap to Mint or PopOS, but that takes time out of my life which I'd rather spend coding or working out.

You want Linux to win on the desktop, you have to get manufacturers to make it the default, and good luck getting Dell or HP to change.

Heck most folks don't even own a computer now a days.

Be happy Android won on mobile and Linux won on servers. ❤️

  • Hold fast against the barbarians at the gates Gates.

    FTFY

  • The problem is it's fundamentally changing the source of energy in a car. Even if you ripped out the motor and replaced it with an electric motor and battery Bank there would still be a whole fundamental sleuth of systems that would be missing inside the car. I think I better solution might be to look into converting cars to hydrogen instead.

Also feel free to ignore anything I just said I'm not no automotive engineer, just a nerd who used to tinker with cars when he was younger 😅

  • Yeah, it might be you DE settings as well? I middle click all day long w WaterFox on Mate.

  • ...

    Jump
  • How's Go for a backend? I've used it abit, stupid fast.

  • VSCodium, because it's not a plug-in filled beast like my regular VSCode is. Also Micro is neato. Helix seems nice too.

  • I use it with GitHub, works amazing on multiple boxes, OSX and Linux. For SSH keys, just use KeePassXC and SyncThing.

  • Yeah, I really would like them to go back to being the cool weird uncle, not the cousin everyone is forced to play with at family gatherings.

  • Trust me, I've done this ... Like a bunch of times... 😅

  • Heck yeah, used to play Doom and Duke Nukem 3D.

  • XP was OG AF 🔥

  • I'm weird, i always liked the classic theme.

  • Yeah, they seem neat. I just have a display link USB video card that support is tricky for.

  • Yeah, fuck Facebook. I don't trust them for shit.
