I use it with my CalDav server Fadicale, which id more lightweight than nextcloud. Works reaĺy weĺ too.

Damn, yeah that happens sometimes that you send in some wrong papers.

SmartTube -> Settings -> About -> Enable global search (firmware support needed)

If you click that it will download a app which will function like a gate (it places it in instead of the original YouTube app which it deletes) and sending everything which normally goes to the original YouTube app to SmartTube instead. So global search works, the promotional stuff on the homepage also gets opened in SmartTube and so on.

I am using a Chromecast Ultra, but that only works if you're ok with using google hardware and software.

I set it up so that smarttube is my default youtube player. I use the stock Netflix app and no jellyfin.

I would like to use PeerTube on it but there is no client where you can log in to your account.

For me it was "Settings -> Other -> Restore purchases" after pressing it it was restored because I was logged in into the same Google Account on my phone as on the old phone.

I have a hard time understanding why a option to view it either with ads or pay money to not show ads is bad.

I understand it's frustrating that you already pay and still see ads.

In the end you choose to buy something from a company which sells something. Either you pay with your money or with your attention if you don't want to pay, just don't use their service.

I much rather have the option to pay to get rid of ads than not having it like it was in the 90ies.

Title is misleading, I was looking for it for Android and there is just some viewer, so clearly not for all operating systems.

Since my upgrade to 0.19 I really struggle to keep my servr online. It sounds like what is happening to me too. The whole server beco.en unesponsive after the load goes to 100. After I kicked NextCloud from the server in only kept happening every coupple of days. Let's see if this workaround helps to fix it. If not then I'll remove swap.

When I start the app, it sorts with my default scaled, but if I change it, I can't go back to scaled.

I don't use it for dementia but just as aregular reminder for myself but it shows the same things you mention hike Date, time todays calendar but also weather andl other things which are 9000 to know. And I also use HomeAssistant for it.
