It's voip phone, texts on data. Not accepted by every bank or 2 factor provider tho.

Gotcha. I guess i do have one, Google Voice, but for various reasons i don't like that for anything important.

Hmm. When I'm in airplane mode on Wi-Fi i do not get text messages (sms). I might get calls but I'm not sure.

I turn my Bluetooth, NFC and Wi-Fi on when i need to use them, otherwise they're off.

Partly for privacy but also for battery life.

Do most people leave those on all the time?

Based on their website i don't see how.

Firefox with ublock (blokada on mobile), do not track, a few settings tweaks, and using ddg or startpage for search seems to be pretty much what librewolf is.

Not really. Online they'll need my user/pass, 2fa for starters.

If they try to do it by phone they'll need to first answer a bunch of questions (which yes they can probably get), but then upload a photo of my license....

But it's very easy and fast to temporarily thaw it when you want to apply for credit.

I bought a pixel when Google first came out with their cell service. That phone lasted less than a year for no reason I can think of.

Same, and they usually don't want me to do anything to the bed. Trash on the way out and didn't be a pig.

There was a very out in the open camera in the living room of an Airbnb that I stayed in once and I really didn't care for it and hadn't noticed it in the listing. But, it was a basement suite of a family's own house and I guess they were just concerned. I started looking for that more specifically but glad to hear Airbnb banned them completely.
