There must be a GPS locator phone app everyone has which shows people where I am parked in parking lots, obscure highway pullouts, national forests, etc. so they can come and park right next to me.

I agree 100%. I have suspected the same thing.
Today I am in a large parking lot that is only 5% occupied. This family pulls in and parks away from me but doesn't shut off their car. Then a minute later they back out of that space and attempt to back in to the spot right next to me. The wife got out of the car to guide the husband into the spot. The entire parking lot is wide open!!! WTF? They didn't even have the courtesy of parking one over from me. Definitely, it's the Simulation fucking with me.
