But is that desirable? I'd rather break things in favor of something better, and provide a way to make the old thing run, than be stuck with ancient baggage
Also, while that's true for software, compatibility for old hardware is horrible under Windows
This is a silly joke question, and you're right about the urea breaking down. Now for the water molecules (which are indistinguishable, so outside of pseudoscience the answer is meaningless), it becomes more interesting.
Assuming a person pees about 1l/day, over a lifetime you have on the order of 1029 water molecules in your pee. There's about 1.3 billion cubic kilometers of water on earth, or about 1021 litres. So assuming the pee gets perfectly diluted, you get about 10^8 molecules that used to be in a specific person's pee, per litre of water. In reality it will likely be more, since much water is deep in the ocean, where there is little convection, so it takes long to evenly mix the pee around.
25% on top of the old price, for goods not produced domestically. Assuming that's all of them, that'd be 25% of your spend going towards products (Services are part of your spend, but don't get tariffed), indeed. But some things get produced in the US, so I imagine they factored that in there. For the average household, this seems to amount to about $1200/a
It has been hotly debated, mostly in regards to Greece and Türkiye, who have been at each other's throats for decades. In that case, the aggressor likely wouldn't be obvious and both are likely to claim article 5. Their relations to other NATO members are also a lot more ambiguous, some favoring one, some the other.
In the case of a rogue USA attacking Canada, or Denmark, I believe the case would be a lot clearer.
