  • if by all you mean the closed source ones where they probably don't even encrypt your passwords, sure

but open source ones (bitwarden) are really good and have a clear track record, you can even verify they encrypt everything by checking the source code.

If you wanna go ultra paranoid, however, you can also use something like keepassxc, where not only it gets encrypted, but it stays on your device.

  • I know Lemmy.ml does censor things, most others should be uncensored

  • That is indeed true, but don't forget that vaping addiction comes from the nicotine inside it that gets into your body physically. Riding a motorcycle or being on Instagram are still addictive but they don't "force" it upon you

  • You're on an instance which censors some words, use another instance to see it

  • name of the channel?

  • not using plastic things one time and then throwing them away would be a good start...

  • unfortunately yes, i've seen lots of just caps thrown around as litter

  • Do you mean the bidets you installato on top of the toilet or the actual

  • to be fair the last video, the nuclear near misses one, did seem like a bunch of things stuffed together to make... something? I guess the people who didn't know about it will find it interesting but it's easy to see the difference from the old videos, the ones about niche topics with very in depth explanations

still, most of the other videos are great

  • staring at a wall is more interesting then (badly done) school

  • on serious services wallets are encrypted using your master password, and unless you chose "password" you can be almost certain you won't get hacked even in case the company gets breached

  • The water that's being used to generate power isn't touching the core at all

as for solar and wind, you are right, but don't underestimate how many solar panels and wind turbines you should have to put to completely replace all power production, that's an immense land requirement, not to mention the immense material cost

But hey, if we can manage to get enough renewables I'm completely on board

  • there's no such thing as water requirements, the water that's used in the core is in a closed loop, and the one that gets used to generate the steam is then put back into where it was taken (river etc)

not to mention that's what all power plants do, electricity generation has always been about the best way to heat up water
