I just hope they learn before it's too late that the people who stand idly by and/or vote in support of genocide of Palestinians because they're not Palestinian are the same people who will do the same with queer people like us because they're not queer.

They're already turning the corner on immigrants. The recent Dem bill is more extreme than any border laws passed under Trump. And now it's getting even more extreme with the new bipartisan version.

Stop using us as a shield to protect your horrific genocide. I wonder if their daughter even knows they're appropriating her queerness to support slaughtering tens of thousands of children.

The US didn't propose a ceasefire yet. In response to this ceasefire proposal they've said they're working on a draft for a proposal. With an indeterminate ceasefire of indeterminate length to start at an indeterminate date.

But strangely, once actual dates and times get proposed, they bring out the veto.

One could argue that it sure looks like they're trying to muddy the waters and give Israel cover.

Instead of collapsing at a 9/11 memorial, Biden's had 4 major incidents with his memory in the space of a week. Biden's net favorability of -17 is lower than Hillary hit even after the Comey report. DNC removing candidates from the primary ballot that they're scared of. Next thing you know, we're going to find out Biden never stopped in Wisconsin for the 2024 campaign.

I'm super impressed by your ability to ignore literally everything I wrote.

Biden is the worst candidate of the bunch by that metric. His favorability is 17 points underwater right now, and he's losing to Trump in most recent polls by around 4 to 6 points. And keep in mind that that's measuring popular vote, not electoral votes. Hillary won the popular vote by 2 points and still lost the election. Biden needs to lead Trump by at least 3 points to even have a chance, it took a +4.5 margin to win last time around. And while we're comparing to Hillary, her favorability was only 15 points underwater in October after the Comey report.

Cornel West would be a way better choice. Even Dean Phillips would be less bad of a choice (y'know that whole "lesser evil" thing and all that). In polls, a generic Democrat leads Trump by 6 points.

But it's all a moot point because Democrats keep shutting down primaries and removing candidates from the ballot. They're attempting another coronation just like they did in 2016 - why would any candidate try to run when the party leadership is shutting them down?

Rafah is pretty much the last place for people to go, that's why 3/4ths of the population is there at this point. There aren't any "safe zones".

This whole thing is McGovern 2.0. Biden is self-destructing his own candidacy in spectacular fashion. It's going to be a disaster in November if Democrats don't do something drastic to turn things around.
