  • I'm sorry but the fact that people are so outraged with Biden for doing this is exactly why Kamala lost.

Trump and the Democrats are held to completely different standards. Trump is willing to fight dirty to win at all costs, and that's why he won. It sucks to hear but it's true.

  • I think we all thought that tbh. Intel let their hubris get them and this is the result.

They don't have innovation anymore, I don't know what they're doing and I don't think they do either.

I wish AMD would catch up in the GPU side of things so it wasn't such a monopoly with NVIDIA but I guess we'll see, I mean they did knock Intel down eventually so who knows maybe it's possible.

That would have gone truly horrible if AMD did go bankrupt, that would have been a really dark timeline for all of us.

  • He didn't, he was never around much and I just ended up learning things through school and the Internet. I like to think I turned out okay anyway, but then again there's me being arrogant so maybe not.

  • I think of myself as someone who always wants to know, I want to know the truth, I don't like not knowing things. Plus, it could help finding out about genetic conditions and things to be on the lookout for, which can definitely be valuable.

I'd still never do one of these tests because of the privacy concerns and because I don't trust companies with something like this, especially since I have seen so many times where companies have a lax attitude or lax policies or both about security.

  • It's funny, sad, and kind of true, but to be fair you can create some pretty cool images with AI (think stable-diffusion) even with just mid to high-end consumer hardware.

  • I don't even have a "Security and Privacy", just a "Privacy Settings", and then in there I don't see anything about Reset Advertising Id, just something like "Advertising Preferences" that has "Allow Outlook to s hare data to show you more relevant ads".

I think likely what I would have to do is add a personal email account to outlook, and then pay for a subscription on that, to get it to hide ads for my work email - but I don't really want to have to add a second email, I just want it for my work email, and then ideally I'd just pay through Play Store or whatever, but they don't even allow that.

Oh well. Maybe one day I will stop being lazy and find another email client that works well with my work email and has busy hours etc.
