For 9-5ers Mon-Fri, I've always been on the side of Friday or Monday off for this debate, having three days in a row means you get two days not thinking about work, whereas a mid week day off means you just get another typical Sunday of dreading the next day.
Late January sounds like a more sensible time to me, people are winding down (no fucks to give) and will be going on leave soon. Any way you could find a "problem" and leave it for future Nath to deal with next year? 😁

I'm part of the Lemmy problem here as old.reddit has far more activity in niche communities that I enjoy so I stick over there, which then means the activity stays on old.reddit except other than with this beautiful community of local awesome people in this daily thread.
