Tbh, I've got tipping rage. I breeze past the tip screen, and even this article that's sympathetic to tipping culture won't change my mindset. I'm being asked to tip for things that never asked for one before the pandemic, all while the prices of the goods have gone up. I'm already paying more for the food/goods. How dare you ask for more? I'm tired of being fleeced for even more money. If you didn't do anything beyond your job to prepare my order, and you're not actively waiting on me at a sit down restaurant, then I pay the cost of the good. If your employer isn't paying you enough, take it up with them.
Well, I've never owned a Steamdeck, so I guess ignorance is bliss in this case; I don't know what I'm missing. I really try to find games that work best with a controller to play on my Ally. There are plenty of games that require a keyboard and mouse, and I'll either use my desktop or dock my Ally, but again, I got it for the controller games.
ROG Ally owner here - I come in peace. I know many ROG Ally users in r/rogally were reporting they purchased a Sabrent SSD to throw in their Allies (is that the plural?) and I hadn't seen any reports of issues there, for what it's worth.
24k!? Dang. I'm really hoping that contributes to the activity over here. Lemmy provides a similar enough experience that, as long as the people come, it'll be comparable to Reddit for sure.
One question I've been curious about: is your goal to make Sync for Lemmy as close as possible to the same experience as Sync for Reddit, minus any changes that are inherently different between Reddit and Lemmy?
Everything tryna be Twitter now that Twitter is no longer Twitter.
