  • I'm not in any way, shape, or form an engineer so I don't really understand the exact details of your post.

However, you post reminded me of a really good episode of a podcast called Hidden Brain. In it the host, discusses the topic of knowledge with a cognitive scientist.

At one point, they talk about how sophisticated technology has gotten that people don't know how to solve problems if that technology brakes, especially since technology is getting so good that it makes fewer mistakes. They use an airplane as an example in which an experienced pilot forgot how to get out of a nosedive and crashed the plane. On a smaller scale, the host mentioned that he has a hard time navigating if his phone's GPS doesn't work.

Its a really interesting listen if you have the chance.

  • One Liter of Tears fits the bill.

It portrays the life of a real girl named Aya Kitou who develops a neuromuscular disease as a teen. It's an old film but great for making you think about the value and beauty of life.

There is a JDrama with the same name. The show takes some artistic liberties with the real story but since it has a longer run time it goes more in depth about the family dynamics and explores other plot lines.

  • Not exactly what you're looking for but it's also helpful to exclude results. You can do this by having a "-" with no space before a term you want to exclude.

For example, if I want to search for pictures of the dish "ratatouille" and not screenshots of the Disney movie, I would type "ratatouille - movie -Disney"

Edit: not sure why there's a space after my hyphens in the post. They're not there when writing.

  • Leftover fries can be either air fried gain (but you'll need to flip them half way) or pan fried in neutral oil (tastier but less healthy).

Can't help with the other three problems.
