Even without knowing who did it, if Israel had stopped occupying Palestinian land, killing and displacing civilians as it's been doing for decades, we probably wouldn't be here today, or at least, maybe I could feel sorry for them. I'm not justifying Hamas' recent attack on civilians, it was horrible, but Israel had it coming.
Who is funding that government exactly? Certainly not the USA and "the west", who prefer to fund Israel instead: a country doing exactly the same, but on a larger scale, and calling different, more socially acceptable names (e.g. "casualties" vs killings). Two wrongs don't make a right.
Agreed, but then again, let's say you don't like democrats either, for whatever reason. What choices do you have? Any other party has zero chances. It's time the US changes its voting laws to allow more than 2 parties to meaningfully exist, so people don't have to always choose the lesser of the two evils.
Maybe not justifiable, but 100% predictable and a direct response to Israel's illegal actions (and unfortunately, as usual, innocent civilians are the ones who suffer).
You have a point, I don't really know what Hamas' plan is, or if there is one. What I'm thinking is that they, and the people of Palestine, are being brought to the point of having nothing left to lose, and so being desperate, the commit acts of desperation. I'm not sure if it's "right" or "good", but it's not surprising to me.
Who's gonna defent the inocent civilians of Palestine from Israel though? I mean this likely wouldn't have happened if Israel didn't just kill hundrends of Palestinians, including civilians, just weeks ago (or you know, if they didn't occupy territories that don't belong to them)
Yeah, valid points, but it's not gonna be easy to tell, in practice. Doing a proper scientific test is likely going to be unethical for obvious reasons, so we're left to wonder if the cons outweigh the pros or not.
Hmm that's interesting, how does this system use energy to move heat around then, if there are no moving parts? Not a rhetorical question, I'm genuinely curious about this system, would you have more info or links to share?
Edit: I just saw the link from @Acters above, that's pretty cool. I'm not sure if it qualifies as "no moving parts" given that "Inside AirJet® are tiny membranes that vibrate at ultrasonic frequency", but I'm not gonna be hung up on a technicality, as it does seem a nice technology.
Personally, I feel that if making completely fictitious depictions of child porn, where no one is harmed (think AI-generated, or by consenting adults depicting minors) was legal, it might actually prevent the real, harmful ones from being made, thus preventing harm.
oof i can’t imagine using it in my countryApple's home state, California where it’s 30 40+ degrees celcius and above on average everyday in summer, and Death Valley has pretty much the world record.
I mean if they didn't test it in Cali I wouldn't know where at all...
I really hope not ... one of the very few music stores that are not in the business of screwing customers or artists, or both
