  • I know Hexbear users can be a bit much, but I think we’re capable of having level-headed conversations with other instances about toning it down whenever we step outside our own hive.

If only, most of the hexbear comments in this thread prove that is not possible.

  • First a troll then a gaslighting defender. No point was made, but there were direct insults.

big-honk and how did they get that money? honk-enraged How did they get the fucking money mf? honk

  • What’s wrong with "retard"? I can only tell you what it means to me and people like me when we hear it. It means that the rest of you are excluding us from your group. We are something that is not like you and something that none of you would ever want to be. We are something outside the "in" group. We are someone that is not your kind. I want you to know that it hurts to be left out here, alone.”

When saying the R-word, “What we mean is that he is as stupid as someone who is mentally handicapped, and we mean that in the most derogatory sense. The implication is that the only characteristic of mentally handicapped individuals is their stupidity.”

  • @sunaurus

More calls false nazi accusations and calls for executions from a hexbear user. These are their true colors and their admins were gaslighting you. They support this and certainly won't be banning this user.

  • Great example of why everyone should defederate from hexbear. You really just can't stop yourselves can you? Even when people like @sunaurus are bending over backwards to find a reason to not defederate you have to jump in and prove they were wrong to give you the benefit of the doubt in the first place.

    1. They are insecure with no way to know what the real URL is.
    2. If you don't control it you can't guarantee the link will always work (bad for print).
    3. Register a shorter domain or novelty domain for your print publication.

    How are they useful?
