  • lots of them fly under the radar of admins that aren’t the targets of their bigotry

General note: as a mod and admin who may not know what to look for, please flag these posts and comments so that we can review.

  • This community doesn't take on support questions. Please see the sidebar for suggestions on where you can find support.

  • We actually do have a similar post that is pinned - however, it doesn't federate to all instances correctly due to a known issue.

  • I very much appreciate the sentiment, thank you!

We have a number of suggestions for communities that welcome support questions in our sidebar.

With that said, we do already have a post outlining why support questions don't belong in this community: https://lemmy.ml/post/1223478

Because this isn't an open question, I will remove it now.

  • This is a support question and as such is against rule #3. Please check the sidebar for suggestions on communities that would be a better fit.

  • I don't follow. The rules for this community clearly state that it isn't meant for support. There are plenty of other communities that are focused on support. Why should people subscribed to this community be expected to answer support questions if they don't want to? That's the whole point of different communities with different rules.

  • Per rule #3, this community isn't meant for support questions. Please take a look at the sidebar for suggestions on better places for your question.

  • This is a support question around using Lemmy - removing the post now. Please see the sidebar for tips on better communities for questions like this in the future.

  • There have been two discussions on this in the past few days. Please have a look at previous topics.

  • This is a better question for a support community; please check the sidebar for suggestions.

  • Mod here. The fun thing is that I actually did remove this post three hours ago when I posted that comment. Due to federation issues, people are still able to comment on it.

These are the rules for this community. If you'd prefer another, you may want to check out !asklemmy@lemmy.world.

  • I'd strongly suggest a Malaysian community for this question - the group here probably isn't big enough to answer it.

  • This is a support question, related to how to use Lemmy. Please see the sidebar for suggestions on where this question would fit.

  • I'd strongly suggest a Malaysian community for this kind of question.

It's not something this group is likely to be able to help you out with.

  • This is more of a support question - please check the sidebar for suggestions on where to ask to get a better answer.

  • Removing under rule #2 - this is political and the question is already slanted.

  • To be fair, this is somewhat true of !asklemmy@lemmy.ml as well - but we want to make sure the interesting questions aren't drowned out by the support questions.
