Dark mode actually makes my eyes relax and I feel less prone to headaches and eye fatigue.

You are exactly correct about that one table. It is like 90% of the space. When I ran the vacuum I did not shutdown Lemmy. Now I know.

There is a learning curve with GIMP. Once you get past it, GIMP is great. It does about 90-95% of what Photoshop will do and that's good enough for me. I'm fully on Linux as well. I run Arch and swear by it. I also like Open and Free BSD.

While you're in your planning stage, I would advocate for Proxmox. I really like it. Another contender would be xcp-ng.
