I went cold turkey and the first week felt like a nightmare. I know everyone is different so a multitude of options is very good. Props to you for being a supportive wife. My wife helped me through my addiction immensely and I'll never be able to repay her for the amount of support she gave me. I'm 2.5 years sober now and feeling great.
I try to find ways to sho my thanks to her everyday and our marriage is significantly better because of me overcoming my urge to drink.
(Used to be 8-12 beers on work nights, drink until blackout on weekends)
I'm surprised share holders of a lot of big companies aren't demanding WFH. Office space is one of the larger chunks of overhead for a company (not just the space but utilities, supplies, maintenance/cleaning).
My guess is as leases are coming to an end that companies will definitely think twice before signing when WFH is an option.
My current job has us in the office a few days every 6-8 weeks and if it went to anymore than that the majority of the team I'm on would quit. It's pretty easy to find work right now with unemployment below 4%
If you listen to him talk in interviews it's pretty clear he has empathy. Hopefully this starship to fame for him opens him up to different opinions/viewpoints.
What I love is that means this game would have been a success at 100k concurrent. That makes this a runaway success. Hopefully other triple As are paying attention to what Larian is doing.
