It must be Thursday. I could never get the hang of Thursdays.

All these rich guys are donating the same amount? Yeah, that doesn’t feel like a donation but more like a purchase/fee/protection money.

It isn’t really a good alternative, but Walmart.com has nearly as wide of a selection and the same delivery times.

Not that Walmart is a better company.

Bring or get some large ear covering headphones. Wear them all the time regardless of if you are listening to anything. Ignore attempts to distract. Practice and say, “sorry, focused right now” and go back to work.

I live my life and care about the people around me. I ignore things I can’t affect.

The sky is not falling. The ground is right here and things are generally OK for most people.

I know this is unpopular, but I don’t understand why people care so much about which storefront they use to buy a game. I buy it where it is cheapest.

Hell, Epic takes less of a share of the sale. It is better for devs.

For me, the social aspect of the store I buy games from is irrelevant.

Seconded. I actually enjoyed the game for what it was, almost Skyrim in space. Almost, don’t shoot me for saying that.

I had fun with the various factions, with constellation, and the story was reasonably unique but maybe not extremely enthralling.

That said, my expectations were basically zero. I purposefully ignore all prerelease hype about video games as it tends to ruin the actual experience of playing the game for the first time.

Anyone that has tried the new version, does plex still make it really difficult to view your library by folder/file rather than by meta data?

I use jellyfin because I can get a folder view.

No. I would never go.

Cheating is betrayal and a breach of trust. If my wife cheated on me I would not only hate her but want to see her and interact with her as little as possible.

For me on this trip, I would constantly be reminded of the cheating. Seeing them together happy would make me miserable.

I know you have to think about your kid and taking him into account may make this decision harder but I would still strongly suggest not going.

Mute ads in live sports. Absolutely.

Avoid ads in all other formats.
