  • No - I'm just saying that the delay in WIFI and the low framerate and small resolution of the screen makes the Steamdeck a sub-par choice for fast-paced games for me. It's fine if you are only playing on that device but if you also have a desktop to play at it's far worse imho

  • For me it's not about fortnite but more about fast-paced multiplayer on the steam deck

When I played Rocket league on the deck instead of my Desktop with Lan, higher resolution and much higher framerate I always felt as if I'm playing much worse than I usually do which is not fun in the slightest

It's a great console for singleplayer and more tactical multiplayer but whenever reading the screen in less than a second and reacting very fast to it in an online game is necessary that's not great...

  • The most basic difference between "left" and "right" on the political spectrum is that left-leaning people believe every human is worth the same and should get the same chances while right wing people believe humans are fundamentally different and the ones on the top deserve their place as much as the ones on the bottom.

That's also why so many libertarians (or just recently proclaimed anarcho capitalists) are actually right-wing since they believe in unequal distribution of chances and quality of life based on capitalist principles and it's also why moderates that claim to be neither right nor left usually lean more right

  • The goal is not wiping out Hamas entirely but removing their strategic capabilities within Gaza.

The IS being active in the middle east isn't a huge problem for the US but if they had a base in Cuba you'd for sure have the military there removing it asap...

  • Yeah but afaik downloading in Germany isn't against the law since it's allowed to download a "backup copy" of things you actually own legally so it's pretty much never enforced. The only way people in Germany get sued is for uploading but then a couple of bytes is already enough in many cases

  • It still needs to be repeated over and over since people are absolutely opposing a higher inheritance tax thinking it would influence them inheriting their grandma's house because that's how those populists are usually spinning it...

  • I don't know how it is in the us but here in Germany many (single-brand-)dealers are also licensed mechanics (for that brand) - and since EVs are taking much less repairing than traditional cars they are basically shooting themselves in the foot by selling them

  • The main upgrade they need is the processor because the companies making those are not supporting newer Android-Versions and at some point that becomes a security-issue.

Problem is that replacing the processor to a newer generation usually means the whole mainboard is obsolete, too and then is very quickly doesn't become easy to upgrade anymore

just switching between different types of cameras, screens etc. wouldn't be as big of a problem but that's also not part of the main-problem either
