  • I'm not advocating for removing the rainbow. You could literally "cut" a big rectangle in the middle and just have a different color background with extra things, paying homage to the original rainbow flag and having center balance. The only good thing I have to say about the chevrons are that it establishes vertical and horizontal orientation.

I'll have to mull over your statement about being more effective that something planned from the beginning.

  • Here's the thing though, I know this is an ally flag, but it's like they never considered symbols:

Ignore the really bad black and white background for a second.

Imagine the left side of the shape is an homage to the original pride flag and the right side is WHATEVER YOU WANT TO PUT IN IT. Uniform clean design with representation. Easy to draw for the layman (fill both sides in with rainbow if you want), and easy to add specific representation

  • I know the intended meaning but…

Just because you control the skies doesn’t mean you can’t let some missiles through. Technically speaking, they aren’t mutually exclusive. You can also choose not to let missiles through, if you control the skies.

  • I mean, yes. The advantage of fixed priced contracts over traditional cost plus contracts is that instead of Boeing twiddling their thumbs for three years wasting time trying to figure out why their original design is shit and having the government pay for it, space x is just out a rocket. Government gives 0 shits. I wonder if there penalties built in if it’s behind schedule

  • The fuck? The politicians I support most are Warren and Ocasio-Cortez but I would never describe my relationship with them as “I am in love with them” and I hope to god that they would never describe their relationship to me that way either. Why would he ever describe politician-supporter relationships as “in love”???
