The best steak dinner money can buy.

I feel dumber after reading that.

I think investors figured out that the REAL money in real estate is in endless renting and not so much in flipping.

I know more than 1 person that owns several rental properties and they're getting filthy rich from monthly rent while also building equity. But I get the impression from them that they'll never sell. Buy low, then rent forever.

That must be why s/he is you ex.

I had a similar thing happen with a (now ex) wife in Spain. We saw a flamenco show somewhere and stupidly decided NOT to take a taxi back to the hotel but to walk instead. Amazing how much smarter we were after a couple drinks!

As we're walking in the direction we think we're supposed to go we see another couple also out walking but they're Spanish (of course) so we can't really communicate. Walking along in this sleeping foreign city that has rolled up its sidewalks got a bit intimidating.

We did have to walk quite a ways and eventually found a cab but I was expecting someone to jump us being the dumb and obvious tourists we were.

Looks like it will be a BROWN Christmas here this year. Which is a grim fucking reminder that we've fucked the planet and it is only going to get worse.

So. There's that.

A couple older games:

Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance. A very complex RTS with a pretty steep learning curve and advanced strategy. Awesome game but not casual.

Alien vs predator games are specifically 3 player (marine, alien , predator). Not sure if there is a modern version. Interesting because each of the 3 play differently.

Note that I said spicy noodles above. I think the red is still my favorite spicy noodle. Chicken bomb noodles are good but goddam spicy. I call the buldak chicken bomb...guess why...

I also do not like hard boiled eggs. Love medium boiled.

I think we agree about all this more than we disagree.

I started making soups recently starting from beef or vegetable stock in those boxes (tetrapack?). So damn quick and easy! I do not know why I didn't start doing it earlier.

Smoked salmon and cherry tomatoes

Oatmeal made with milk. Stir in peanut butter when it is hot and ground cinnamon. Filling.

Spiced fried chicken breast, steamed veggies and carb of choice: mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, scalloped potatoes, or wheat bread.

"Stir fry": Fry meat of choice in a frying pan, add spices and vegetables of choice. Eat with rice or on/with wheat bread. 1 frying pan with meat and vegetables add carb to that.

Grill meat and vegetables of choice. Add carb on the side.

In a bowl? Do you eat it with a spoon like soup?

For me, this would be finger food.

Sometimes I will fry some spam until it is a little crispy and add that too. Egg(s) + spam in spicy ramen is awesome. Favorite spicy noodles are nongshim shin noodles red.
