I agree. I always try to give cash over gift cards. Much more flexible and does not expire.
Gift cards are a hassle because you have to keep careful track of them and be sure you have them when going to that exact business. Cash just goes with your cash.
Tips I have learned over the years. In priority order.
Buy a sonicare toothbrush. They are supposed to be better than even Oral B because of the sound waves they produce. May seem expensive but far cheaper than almost any dental procedure. Studies have shown that electric toothbrushes clean better than manual.
Brush daily.
If you cannot brush one day at least use a flouride mouthwash.
Do not use water on your toothbrush. Something in water hinders the effectiveness of flouride.
Do not rinse your mouth with water after brushing. Leave that toothpaste on your teeth.
Buy a water pik and use it. They clean better than flossing.
IMHO restraint is key with light displays. Make it lightweight and pretty, think minimalist and I am on board. Big plastic snowmen and Santas can fuck right off.
I don't really trust AI for important tasks but I do want to see them used in video games. There already is some level of AI in many games but how much better can it be?
I remember a 3D version of Tetris on an early IBM PC clone. Very early like 8088 or 286 PC. Don't remember the name and it was only wireframe and 1color (amber or greenscreen?) but I was very impressed with it. Seemed ahead of its time.
The appeal of games like this is so odd to me. They're moronic on one hand but viscerally addictive on the other. A very interesting psychological dynamic going on with this whole genre.
In general I avoid buying clothes online. And I will avoid it much more if returns are difficult.
