  • So I'll reinforce my first suggestion to look into turn-based CRPG as a genre and see for yourself. That's where you'll find most of the mechanics you seem to want and you won't have to take the opinions of strangers as to how much gore is too much for you.

  • Is any form of violence or blood a no-no? If you can accept some, Larian (bg3's developper) was already well known for the Divinity series. Many even say that BG3 is kind of Divinity:Original Sin 3 with a DnD license. You'll still be killing some people though. Otherwise, I suggest searching for Turn-Based games which BG3 is. You might like Battletech which is a mech warrior themed game or the X-Com series where there's an alien invasion.

And also, you might have been mislead by the videos. Yes the brain parasite is important but you're really only directly dealing with mind flayers (the tentacle clad monsters) in the very beginning and very end. The rest is just a classic fantasy setting.

  • Aren't they allowed to use both cars, just not at the same time? Pretty sure I've seen black and yellow t-bars for all the teams.

  • Well, I was kinda taking the piss at OP for such a weak post. Colours are kindergarden opinions.

  • Canned water from the alps shipped worldwide is very stupid though. It's not on topic here but fuck these companies too. This branding is also incredibly cringy in any other setting than a party where you want to fit in with beer cans while not drinking. And let's not pretend that most people that drink this don't have access to potable water on tap.

  • Yellow is the best car color. More cars should be painted yellow. There's not enough out there.

  • Yeah I edited my comment to add this precision. So according to me, yes they are running Honda engines.

  • It's legally a RBPT(redbull powertrains) engine. But it's entirely based on what Honda was making for them, like they literally took over the project as it stood and are still supported by Honda for a couple more years I think. A quick wiki search also suggests that Honda still assembles the engines and still own the IP on them due to a development freeze.

  • I understand that. I just find it suspicious that the guy who drives the car doesn't believe in it enough to stay with the team that won him championships even though he saw it progress first hand.

  • Contrary to us though, he has had a taste of how good this car is in the simulators and still jumped ship. Time will indeed tell everyone but that's not encouraging.

  • Exactly. I've seen way too much praise for the Sauber which I think is a step backwards in livery design once your monke brains gets used to the aggressive color.

  • The more I see the sauber, the less I like it. The shade of green is doing some very heavy lifiting here. Because there's really nothing else.

  • I'm surprised so many people dislike it. I think it's the best so far, by a lot. It actually looks like a race car this time instead of a myTeam livery. Really seems like they were inspired by the New York Rangers' uniforms. I love how the stripes are outlined with red and how they suggest the car is leaning forward from the side. It's even far better than the muted colors they had in the last couple of years.

  • Well Sauber is so there maybe some issues with Swiss companies being funded by unlicensed sources or something. Especially now since the Sauber name is gone.

  • I think we've been far more evil towards them than the other way around. We cut the most beautiful of them to make furniture after all.

  • IN what way would that be evil? They produce the very thing that keeps us alive by transforming what kills us.

  • Looks like a MyTeam livery from the games.
