Yup optimizations and customizability is what makes gentoo unique. For starters - You can use any init system, replace glibc with different c libraries etc.
Although I don't consider myself an advanced user, I used to daily drive Gentoo a few years back.
Just don't waste your time compiling packages like firefox and libre office. There are binaries available for big packages so make use of those. It won't make much of a difference in performance imo.
In some countries like India, people just assume that everyone uses whatsapp. It's gotten to the point where whatsapp has become the definition of messaging (for most people).
I don't see how Whatsapp is outdated to the point where one would compare it to IE, but I'll say whatsapp is more like Google Chrome than IE.
Is there any way to use org roam in vim ? I'm interested in trying it out.
I have been using an android app named orgzly and have found org-mode to work just as good as markdown for me.
For markdown I was using an app called Markor.
I was using mullvad for a few months and noticed that a lot of websites I wanted to use were not working for me. Plus they removed port forwarding.
Since then I have been looking for alternatives.
Currently I'm considering -
Airvpn
Azirevpn
PIA
Pia seems to have a really good deal for the 3 year plan. This particular plan is so cheap that other providers prices seem ridiculously high. I have not heard much good things about PIA, so I still havent bought it.
I have generally heard a positive response on Airvpn.
Don't know much about Azirevpn.
Are there any cheap yet "not shitty" vpn providers that you guys suggest ?
