  • I don't think "decentralised" is the word y'all are disagreeing on. Define platform. Because I think the "platform" you're talking about is the technology underpinning Bluesky (AT Protocol), which is decentralised, and others here are talking about the Bluesky "platform" itself, as in the service which is a single, centralised implementation of AT Protocol.

  • Re. EV series ports - check the first link in my previous comment ;)

And I had the same experience with Endless Sky when I first found out about it some years ago. It has gotten a lot of updates since then, but I am holding out for a 1.0 release

  • I'm not sure all of those generalisations hold up, but I think it's safe to say that some people immigrate to a country because they want to live there, and some immigrate because they want the benefits associated with living there.

  • I don't think a 5/10 game is necessarily bad, but it needs to have some kind of - I dont know, character? Niche appeal? - to shine for the players who are going to like it.

I'll throw out Krater as an example. It's not great, but it has a unique setting, great atmosphere, and some interesting ideas driving it. I kinda love it for its eccentricities in spite of the overall experience being a bit meh.
