  • I assume you three-monitor people use the middle one

    Yes.

    (I have 3 identical 1440p monitors.)

Although if I decided I wanted to play a racing or flight sim game, I might try to set it up to use all three (total 7680x1440). I'd also consider playing something like a FPS or strategy game on all three screens turned 90 degrees (total 4320x2560), but the last time I tried doing that was a long time ago (back then I had 1080p screens) and I don't think I ever managed to get the configuration to work because most games aren't designed to span across monitors.

  • Also, there are some in states you wouldn’t think there would be any.

Every state has a significant percentage of non-fascists in it. The notion of "red states" vs. "blue states" is nothing but a lie / artifact of voting district boundaries; the real dichotomy is red rural areas vs. blue cities.

  • Come to think of it, why do our letters have a standard order, and if they have to, why that one?

Because some Phoenician jerk picked it arbitrarily about ten thousand years or so ago and it stuck.

  • The toilet is obviously designed to hold your weight, since its normal use involves sitting on it.

The lid spans about a foot across the bowl rim and is typically made of wood or plastic about 1/2" thick. Those materials are plenty strong enough to hold the weight of a human across that size span.

The only lids I would hesitate to sit on are the absolute bottom-dollar cheap plastic ones like this, where the lid has been hollowed out to save material.
