  • Please continue to support the initiative. It's very possible some signatures are invalid and will be thrown out. The discord is currently aiming for 50% buffer, that is 1.5 million signatures

  • Tailscale is a tunneling service which allows to easily connect multiple different networks together. For example, if you have two computers in different locations, they can talk to each other as if they were in the same location using a tailscale network.

  • You switched the dates. EU deadline is july 31st, and got a massive influx of signatures over the last two days.

  • The streamer critic is a former Blizzard employee known as Pirate Software, who apparently is developing a live service game (citation needed)

  • The UK is no longer in the EU, so the fact they declined doesn't mean much here.

  • it does too many things, thus going against the unix philosopy of "do one thing and do it well"

  • Indeed, the unary plus operator tries to convert whatever is after it to a number if it isn't already. Since 'a' is not a valid number, it returns NaN (not a number)

  • In this case, I believe there is a container right outside the door.

Regardless, you can't just leave your trash wherever you want.

  • Yes, by self-service I mean an automated lockerbox. What you see in the picture is when people retrieve their parcel from the lockerbox, rip it open, and just leave the cardboard box there.

  • Mildly Infuriating @lemmy.world

people trashing the self-service section of the post office
