Just getting these devices (libraries come to mind) to switch to some LTS distro would bump Linux market share quite a bit.

I’m planning on doing the same thing. I only have Linux installed at home. If they really need Windows for something I could always spin up a VM.

I think the "difficult" part for a lot of people has to do with the network effect. There is more friction to using Matrix over Discord because all of their friends use Discord (as an example). Of course, this wouldn't apply to everything but it is definitely something that has an effect.

I've got a personal and business account with Revolut. You need to use Google Wallet or Apple Pay, you cannot tap to pay directly through the app.

Regarding the crash, here are my two cents. I've played RDR2 on Pop!_OS and EndeavourOS and have not really had any major issues (I'll get to that in a second). My specs are similar but not quite the same as yours:

• Ryzen 5 3600
• Nvidia GTX 1660TI
• 32 GB RAM

The issues I've had have not been as major as the game/system crashing the same way yours did. However, I have had serious screen tearing and worsened performance (although not very often at all). Every time, I have updated the graphics driver or kernel (or both) and upon rebooting and starting the game again the issue was fixed. This may very well be the case for yourself as others have already mentioned.

I've got two Sandisks (both 64GB but different models) that have both been through the washing machine multiple times (accidentally) and haven't failed yet. They are probably about 3 years old at this point but I can't remember.

This. Thank you for explaining it correctly, I’ve seen sooo many people saying it’s just filters. Of course, there will almost always be some colour correction but the way a camera a camera can capture the light is different to the naked eye.
