Ah ok yea, it makes sense to move the community above the title if you are displaying the username as well. And removing the instance from the name will help as well. Thanks for the screenshot!
I added the function but need to figure out how to make it look nice and not cluttered. Any thoughts on how/where it should go? I’m not actually sure how Apollo used to do it. **
About the only good thing about npm is that I can use one of the superior alternatives. Using npm is almost always a headache as soon as you start working with a decent number of packages.
So I’m ignorant here, but what is the spec difference between the supplied iPhone USB-C cable and the one that comes with the newer MacBooks? I never bothered to look, but I did mark the one that came with my MacBook as I assumed it was higher rated than some other cable (although I still just charge with the MagSafe adapter anyway).
The most noticeable thing when I went back to the site with a fresh account (unfortunately there are still a few real niche communities that I want to participate in that refuse to move) I was inundated with a bunch of right wingy content. New subs like “true unpopular opinion” parrot a bunch of shitty views disguised as “conversations”. Lots of racism, homophobia, and other terrible shit now there right in the open on the home feed.
Oh for sure. I anticipate I’ll have things wrapped up by the end of the weekend or start of next week as far as “migrating”. I’m 95% confident that there won’t be any state issues as far as interacting with Lemmy goes, but I expect there will be weird buttons that don’t work, glitchy animations, etc. that I never noticed. I’m aware of a lot right now though, so no need yet.
I’ll open up a thread here in a few days asking for that feedback. In addition, I’d like some input on UI in general and what sort of additions/moves/tweaks people would like to say. With the insanely better performance, I’m confident now in adding significant customization options to the UI.
Updated to include this. If you have suggestions I’m totally open to them just let me know. I’m not a big compact user so I’m not sure what people want to see with that. Cheers.
It’s all good. Thanks for the heads up, but yea they are known about. I’ll have something likely this weekend or early next week that’s in line with where we were at before. At that point any issues that you see will most likely not be known issues and I’ll be glad for all the feedback :)
Oh that is probably the cleaner idea. Thanks.
