More so these days it's all about the "money", as in wages.

Companies are too beholden to investors instead of the company. When the rich boys scream about wages sucking up too much of their profits, this is what happens.

  • @mercano @wrath-sedan

Simply because of the complexity of it all. I mean it's never happened before so the DOJ and state justice dept's had to triple-check that each and every "i" was dotted and "t" was crossed. Never mind the millions of pages of evidence that had be collated, then backed up from other sources.

It is mind-boggling it's only been 3.5 years!

    This.

Every property owned above primary should double in tax.

At this point it's the only way to stop the hoarding immediately. Canada is rolling into what may be a viciously cold winter soon, and if we don't do something RIGHT NOW, people will not survive.

It also developed from scientists trying to keep things simple. Women's bodies are a lot more complicated than men's in terms of varying ratios of hormones, pregnancy, etc that have to be accounted for in studies. Same reason HeLa cells and genetically-identical mice are used.

It's still not a justifiable reason to neglect 50% of the population under the incorrect assumption that human physiology is the same across the board.

"Thanks to hundreds of years of treating the male body as the default in medicine, we simply do not know enough about how disease manifests in the female body."

This is big one. I'm a woman who's been misdiagnosed for the simplest of things. Twice I've blown my ACL, and both times it took 6-8 months to diagnose ... even tho the first time I pulled the ACL right off the bone. My rotator cuff took 20 yrs. All because women aren't supposed to hurt themselves at work.

    I'm sick of the BS

Tourists should have left, like they were supposed to, or not visited days after the fire.

It's not that hard a choice to make to do the right and kind thing here. But instead those tourists chose the selfish way.

  • @psvrh @mxwarp

Yup. Been to Montreal twice and it's freaking awesome!

At this point Putin is acting like a spoiled kid, who is beating on his little sister for no reason, while mom and dad stand by and watch because they're scared of him.
