  • RCMP - We're responsible cops.

loses 205 firearms in 4 years

    RCMP - Whelp, accidents happen.

  • “We’re seeing much cleaner sidewalks,” said Terry Asten Bennett, owner of Cliff’s Variety store in the city’s historically gay Castro neighborhood, adding that she hates to see homeless people shuffled around.

Caring more about how it 'looks' than how unhoused people are surviving is peak 21st century bs.

  • I think it's because it's generally considered bad form to post videos only, without any text whatsoever.

I know for me I'd prefer to read for 15 minutes vs listen to someone speak for almost 50 min.

  • Nanos in Canada still does it the old way.

  • Their lists are millions of names long. It takes them a lot longer than it did 30 years ago, but they slog away at it until they get enough.

  • Polling companies have a standard number of people they need that will cover their demographic requirements (ie: age, income, location). They keep going down their list of phone numbers until those requirements are fulfilled.

  • They just keep going down the list until they have enough respondents to use for the data.

  • I really like Saunders, but big-C capitalists hate him because he actually works for the people. And that's why he'll never be POTUS or VP.

    :/

  • Polls are simply educated guesses. Nobody knows for sure until the election is certified and POTUS is sworn in.

  • ... it seems like his parents were real pieces of shit and he didn’t stand much of a chance of being a functional person himself.

Exactly. He acted on what and how he was taught ... but kids can more easily learn new ways of thinking than many adults, so imo he is 'redeemable'.

I'm hoping he has access to intensive psychological help (now and in the future) so when he gets out he can be part of society.

  • Polar bears actually stalk humans, so they're super dangerous.

It's too bad that big oil has fucked up the earth so bad we have to kill them, just because they floated across the Atlantic and landed on a foreign shore..

  • Oh, we have the same issues in Canada as you do in America, ie: the thin blue line patches on uniforms, cops murdering Black and Brown people all the time, current & former cops/military joining the proud boys (or whatever militia group is in vogue atm).

  • Ok, that's gooood. 2 thumbs for inventiveness and dumbfuckery extraordinaire.

  • Ok, new acronym ... I Am Not A Bomb Expert (IANABE) but this is just a somewhat explosive-noob educated guess ...

PETN can be mixed with a plasticizer and RDX to make a plastic explosive (or possibly a plastic casing that would surround a battery pack???)

As it has been reported that some of the battery packs exploded even when they had been removed from the device, there must have been an igniter in the battery pack as well (engaged by a radio signal vs a software signal???)

PETN has a high shattering effect (which may be why it was chosen to shatter a battery pack???)

Everything in parentheses with ??? means a guess ... because, again, IANABE.

edit to add - how many explosve-trained dogs do you think walk around Lebanon, just checking out the scenery?

  • I lived in Dryden and area for 15 years. This has been an ongoing issue for decades and every level of gov't has done sfa to take care of it.

In early May I went to visit friends there and they said that there's indications the methylmercury has migrated from the river to Wabigoon Lake.

Time for the gov'ts to pony up money to buy that mill and shut it down.

    E- here's a video about it ... https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=iqedC754tH8&pp=ygVRdG9yb250byBzdGFyIHB1bHAgbWlsbCBzdWxwaGF0ZSB3b3JzZW5zIG9sZCBtZXJjdXJ5IHBvbGx1dGlvbiBuZWFyIGdyYXNzeSBuYXJyb3dz

  • Whiny baby cops, parading their so-called victimhood for all to see.

Fucking asswipes, every one of them.

    As always, ACAB.
