  • You want a resin print with a layer height of around 0.02mm. The material should have some flex and not be the cheapest brittle resin so your mini survives a fall from the table. Prices depend heavily on the size and volume of the model, the Material used and if it is presupported. Hand supporting costs alot of time and will make everything much more expensive. Once you give your file away its gone, its the internet, you can stop noone from Anything anymore.

  • Standard Vinyl that contains PVC should never be heated with a Laser. It will create corrosive chlorine gas.

Any advanced Vinyl like PVB, PVA or any variant that does not contain chlorine can be cut with diode co2 and fiber without issues.

  • I went down that road first building a plotter attachment then trying to attach a knife on an ender 3. Kinda got it to run by simply extruding svgs into a 1 layer body that i could then "print" with a standard slicer. In the end i build myself a laser, and let me tell you, everything before was a huge waste of time :) the laser cuts like a beast, much faster and cleaner. Would not recomment using a knife in a laserworld.

  • If you are oke with the smaller volume, this is a good printer. this thing will be able to print flawlessly, all parts are semi open source and there's a great community if you need support parts or any help. Prusa is above average stuff.

  • Everyone saying that cannabis induced psychosis is fearmongering or does not exist is unfortunately wrong. Especially for a vulnerable subgroup the risk is definitely there. There are a multitude of studies on the subject, eg this (nature) one. Also check out the cited papers or look for cannabis psychosis in any medical database yourself. Alot of good info out there. The chance it will happen to the average consumer is quite low, after all it is one of the safest drugs out there, if consumed the right way. Thou saying cannabis induced psychosis does not exist is just plain misinformation.

  • Nope, it is not significant. The only thing that really stands out is the runout sensor with loading function function that is sold for 2.0, if you dont need that, print ninjaflex 24/7 and your 1.5 has no direct issues there is no need to upgrade.

  • If those 2 are from the same job its either a sagging gantry on an ender or the bed/mesh is not tilted properly or not meshed/leveled properly. Check squareness and sagging gantry, then check mesh/level after.

  • Just jumping in here, the first layer does look kinda shitty, at least theres a lot of room for improvement.

Here's a little guide to improve on a multitude of things by teaching tech.

    Cool cura feature thou :)

  • Im using a filament fuser 3d printed. Try looking for filament fuser/welder/connector on thingi or any other page. There are also professional solutions on the market but diy cheap printed thing works flawlessly for me.
